I have for sale a Victorian Era saloon bar top lighter made from spelter in the 1880s. It depicts a gentleman holding a cane with a hat that flips open. His pipe would have held a cloth wick that stayed lit so patrons could light their cigars at any time they liked. The item has no damage and great patina for the age. He stands 4 5/8" tall, and the base is 2 3/4" in diameter. I've only seen 2 others sell, so I lowered my price beneath both of those auctions' final prices. Reverse image search will show you the same. No makers marks or any ID marks anywhere. The hinge on the hat is still in great shape and not loose or bent. I'm 51 y/o, and this was in my great, great grandfathers collection. Overall a great addition to any collection or a unique conversation piece. More of his items will be posted soon. Any Questions??
