This beautiful wooden box contains two trays of Caran d'Ache's most versatile ranges for artists, the classic Prismalo water-soluble pencil and the Neocolor II water-soluble wax pastel.Prismalo Aquarelle pencils need no introduction, being the world's first, and probably most recognisable, water-soluble pencil. The top tray, which is removable, contains 30 vivid colours. The pencils are hexagonal with 3mm lead and end-sealed cedar wood barrels. Neocolor wax pastels were introduced to the market 60 years ago, and have proved indispensable to amateur and professional artists alike. The Neocolor II are water-soluble, with excellent light-fastness, and are ideal for a wide range of applications.
