Removing the Injector LinersWARNING: Ensure all parts are free from contaminants. Contaminants may lead to accelerated wear and a reduced lifespan of components.Insert the puller pin from Tool Set (A) into the injector liner.Mount the bridge puller, thrust bearing, hard washer, and nut from Tool Set (A) onto the pin. Refer to Step 1.Tighten the nut until the injector liner is detached from the cylinder head assembly.Remove Tool Set (A) from the injector liner.Repeat steps 1 to 4 to remove the remaining injector liners.Installing Electronic InjectorsNote: Inspect the fuel passage in the cylinder head assembly. Remove any remaining debris.Clean the bore in the cylinder head where the electronic injector liner will be placed.Attach new O-ring seals (two pieces) to the electronic injector liner (one piece).Apply Retaining Compound to the contact surface of the electronic injector liner on the side marked with an "X". (Avoid applying it to the cylinder head surfaces)Lubricate the O-ring seals (two pieces) with clean engine oil.Attach Tool Set (B) to the threads of the electronic injector liner (one piece).Position Tool Set (B) and the electronic injector liner within the cylinder head.
